Aurowyn is a large continent with a general temperate climate that shifts into cold highlands further north. Partially seen as a "bipolar" continent since the close proximity of these climates nearly runs half way through it almost as if it can't decide what it wants to be. Regardless, it is has an abundance of trees, plenty of farmland in the south with long stretches of rivers as well as quite the amount of tree covered mountain ranges.
Additionally, the mainland has two large islands south of it both of which are uninhabited due to the rough terrain making establishing towns fairly difficult.
Akmenishi
This is the largest, most heavily fortified, human city in all of Aurowyn with a population of around 30-40 thousand. Surrounded entirely by large mountains that provide access to cave networks with vast resources as well as a river nearby that provides a sufficient source of water when gathering ice from the north isn't an option. Home to both guilds, craftsman and merchants whom all provide value to the city in their own ways.

Guilds handle dangerous jobs such as monster hunting or gathering materials during their hunts as well as the odd job or two depending on the type of guild. Craftsman take the resources gathered and create stuff out of them, anything from furniture to weapons depending on the type of shop.
Lastly there are the merchants, a source of value via the ways of trade where by providing valuable Akmenishi resources to other towns and cities, they return with valuable goods that aren't as easy to acquire such as enough food to sustain such a large population and other various items. Due to the heavy presence of the AXAS group, who houses a guild of their own within the city, the Human dominated population is heavily Xenophobic. Thus most demi-humans avoid travelling there if they can help it.
Rimura, Mosuni, Vyren
These three towns are known as Rimura, the village of the West. Mosuni, the portside town of the South and lastly Vyren, the village of the East.
Rimura is the agricultural focus of the trio, with plenty of fertile farmland for crops and a river close by to assist with irrigation. It has roughly 238 folk that live there most of whom are farmers, though the town does have other occupations such as general goods and a smith where tools and the like are generally repaired or created based on need.

Vyren with a population of around 386, due to it having less fertile land and only enough to really sustain its own population, focuses on other aspects of work such as lumber mills and ranching cattle. Allowing the town to have a focus on carpentry and leather working specifically from the hides they obtain through their ranches. Much like Rimura, it too has general goods available as well as a local smith for repairs.
Mosuni happens to be the trade hub due to its coastal location allowing it to trade over seas, working specifically with the other two towns in order to sustain itself while at the same time, providing a safe place for those towns to trade their goods. It is by far the largest of the three with a population of 1000, not including the travelers that stop by at the shops or at guilds that've stationed themselves there. The guilds here have a focus on protection assignments, keeping the crews of various ships safe on their journeys.
Lastly, all three towns are under the protection of a powerful individual known as "The Demon of the Forest". They clearly reside within the forest though it is unknown where specifically they can be found, all that is known is that should any of the three towns find themselves under attack then the attacker will face the wrath of their protector. If it weren't for that? All three would've likely been forced under the rule of Akmenishi who'd want it for strategic purposes.
